What are the all-time pancake lens options for a6000?

3

New to Sony and but bought a a6000 body.  I’thou looking to find the best image quality pancake lens out at that place that doesn’t use an adapter.  The reason I’m looking for a pancake lens is to keep size small (I bought the camera as an alternative to a pocket betoken and shoot).  I think the Sony 16mm pancake is besides wide for me but any focal length longer than that would be fine.  Thanks in advance for any ideas!

Just other option is 20mm or 16-50 kit lens if you want a pancake.  Sigma 30mm two.8 and Sony Iron 35mm two.viii are both pretty small as well simply non quite pancakes.

SEL20F28. Recently reviewed my photos taken with it and decided to buy information technology once again. Not only it is useful @ 20mm – turning a6xxx into smallest quality camera merely makes interesting broad angle with ECU2. While the Samyang 12mm is sharp I actually dislike information technology`south colour rendering, which no PP can fix. So till I get spare greenbacks for Touit will be using 20mm with ECU2.

To sum up – SEL20f28 is super meaty, has fastest AF of all E mounts, decent color rendering and gives an choice to aggrandize with UWA adapters.

Carl Zeiss Touit 1.8/32

Samyang 12mm F2.0 NCS CS

The Sony 16mm is actually very squeamish, if y’all can get a proficient copy (I would recommend the Hasselblad branded version). It’s like having a mini Batis 25 (in terms of focal length, non in terms of corner sharpness

).
