How do you get the audio levels to bear witness on a 5D3
I’ve been looking in the manual and on the camera for about two hours at present. I can’t seem to get the audio level indicator to show in video mode.
Have you figured it out?

I’ve read that page and so many times. I’m losing my mind. It’southward supposed to exist adaptable and viewable during recording on the back screen. Information technology’s just not in that location.
You can see it on pg 225 simply not on my photographic camera.
Somebody help me.

So that video contained about of the answer. Here information technology is for everyone else with the same frustration.
1) The sound level has to be set to manual. It’s hidden if you take it on automobile.
2) The switch has to exist set up to movie mode. (Obviously)
3) While in movie mode printing the Q push.
That should do it.
PS As a tip, I prefer the silent control enabled.

Make certain the camera is in flick mode and printing the menu button.
From within the menu panel become to the 4th sub menu in the camera carte. (the red carte du jour, quaternary little square) From in that location you lot volition find sound recording. Make sure to set it to Manual. You lot should be skilful to get from in that location.
