I’m at work and my camera is at home and then I tin can’t check myself. I need to lodge ii more than quick release plates for my manfrotto/bogen pistol grip head, and B&H has ii thread sizes listed. Anyone think which the Canon uses, and is it the same for the 10D and EOS3?

Virtually all 35 mm (and smaller) cameras, including everything Canon makes, use one/4-20 tripod screws. The culling 3/8-16 is used principally by larger format cameras, which are heavier and and then demand the bigger screw.
