Are yous using the mirror lockup feature? If and then, you lot need to press the release a 2d time to take the photo. The purpose of this setting is to get the mirror out of the style first, and let the vibrations of the shutter die down to avoid camera shake in the photo.
Yes, Live View shooting seems to exist unnecessarily complicated, but it does what information technology has to do.

I reckon the OP tries to use the WMU app. With my D7200 information technology works. I verified and D5600 is incompatible. Information technology needs SnapBridge App.
