Can y’all check the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Command\Class\{6bdd1fc6-810f-11d0-bec7-08002be2092f}

At that registry key, in the right window, is there, nether “Proper name”, either an
UpperFilters

or
LowerFilters
value?

If so, for each of the UpperFilters and/or LowerFilters value, what is listed under “Data”?

OK, that’s normal so the outcome appears not to be at that registry key.

Also, I reread your original postal service and encounter that an Olympus camera does work so that farther indicates the issue is non with that registry key.

Tin can open up the Device Director and right-click the Nikon camera and select “Uninstall”.

Complete the uninstall, restart the figurer and let Windows re-discover the camera.

OK, I tried what you suggested but without much success.

I deinstalled (then the symbol in the hardware managing director appearred without the yellowish alarm symbol), restartet, and windows redetected. But again with the same problem as in the commencement.

->The device is not working correctly because windows cannot load the needed drivers. (Code 31)

I also tried the repair assistant, which only said there is problem with the driver just failed to repair the trouble.
