A multi-featured lens.

A wonderfully capable and versatile lens. Its features-zoom, macro, programability, weatherproof build, sharp resolution etc. make it a perfect choice if you accept merely one lens.

Perfect all around lens, good from kit lens upgrade.

5 Star lens. At f35/5.6 is a fiddling too dark o be a pro lens, otherwise, the sharpness, saturation, color reproduction is top-notch. I apply this lens on 80% of my shoots, with no regrets. Very little Photoshop needs it. I really prefer color warmth from the lens versus Photoshop. The 3 modes on the lens, ability zoom, manual zoom, and Macro are always used. And then is the programmable LF-N Botton. That this lens is fully sealed is a big plus. The price of this lens is as well reasonable. So far it is my everyday lens. If you lot similar me, significant you lot tin can’t afford the pro lens this Zuiko 12-l f3.5/5.6 is a perfect alternative. This lens is little longer than the kit lens, at three.5″, but information technology blows the kit lens abroad. The kit lens is simply 12-42mm, no Macro, image quality is not the same, no ability zoom. The Zuiko 12-50mm is the perfect upgrade from its lens. I highly recommend this lens, especially for the upgrade from kit lens, or for someone who wants to starting time Marco photography.

Abrupt, fast and quit.

Very practiced lens. Precipitous, information technology could pass for professional less if it comes to sharpness and color saturation. It produces amazing details. It is also very unique with its three-mode clutch for manual zoom, ability zoom, and Macro. The programable IN-F bottom comes very handily. It is very expert all-effectually everyday lens. Especially if you want to upgrade from a kit lens, it volition make a huge divergence.
