Tamron/Sigma for z mount

I know this subject has probably been discussed before, but is there any news of Tamron or Sigma bringing their lens line ups to z mount? I know native Nikon z lenses are first-class, but I would similar a 100-400mm for occasional wildlife. But tin can’t stomach the $2600 for the Nikon offer as a hobby. Thoughts?

In that location was a lot of speculation on a recent dpreview news story about 3rd party lenses for the Z-mount. Unfortunately I can’t call up which story and was not able to find it just  now. Simply the gist of the discussion is that neither Sigma nor Tamron will develop Z-mount lenses without a license from Nikon. I have no idea if this is accurate – just the fact remains later on three plus years of Z cameras being on the market, neither company has announced any lenses.

That said, I have been having skilful results with the F-mount Tamron 100-400 on my Z cameras. For less than $800, I feel it’s a corking option.

I wish Viltrox put out a 200-600mm Z mountain lens.  I’m getting tired of Nikon waiting on theirs.

I bought a Sigma 100-400mm lens.

Only $470 used in mint status.

Equally soon as you buy a Sigma 100-400mm F-mountain, the Sigma Z-mount version will be appear. 🤣

I have considered the f-mount versions, just then have to buy an adapter. Apparently native mountain is preferable . I guess I will have to wait a little longer…
