Canon 5d mark 2 and sigma 12-24 @12 for interior existent estate

Hello guys, i accept currenly sony a99ii,

i am looking existent estate dlsr for my mother, i need really wide pictures.

And so decided to buy ff camera with wide lenses.

In my country, i have found clean used mark 2 for 300 dollar ,and sigma 12-24 f4-v,five,half-dozen for 300 dollar.

Al interior shoots will be taken @12 mm.

I volition gear up the aperture @vii.one with A mode. Volition go on iso @ 800, shutter will be automobile.

I just wonder the results of mark ii @800 and @1600 iso because the censore is 2008 dated.with my a99ii, i take even no dissonance @ 32.000 iso with my zeiss lens

I volition employ bulk raw filter to noise reduction.

Have no budget for mark iii too. The reason of i have interested with marking ii is the price.I have no interested with crop cameras for that price because of one.5 crop factor.I am not happy with my a6300 + fifty-fifty 10-18 f4

Yous call back the amateur real manor agency possessor volition be ok with a mode to set up vii.1 discontinuity and 800-1600 iso ?I am not expecting the magic, photos will be uploaded to facebook.i will just break the contrast, and delete the noise in noise reduction, and maybe can add some sharpen with clarity.

For example, my 650d was really bad even with 800 iso with tamron 17-50 f2.viii

ISO 800-1600 should exist fine on the 5D2. The former Sigma 12-24 (you didn’t say if it was version i or 2) should be alright for real estate photography, especially since you are stopping downwards to f/7.ane. Be sure to employ some external lighting as well. Practise know that 12mm will take some distortion, and y’all accept to learn to bending the lens correctly to aid keep the lines in correct perspective.

At that place are also other lenses about that price y’all might consider besides, including the ultrawide Samyang 14mm f/2.8 prime number.

That will be a great combo. Only you need to use a tripod and the cocky timer, and so you can go on ISO down at 100.

The secret is to proceed the camera level in social club to keep vertical lines vertical. Otherwise yous volition get crazy distortion that will make the viewer call back the realtor is existence dishonest. As well don’t dominion out using less broad focal lengths when they are called for. I shoot r/e with a 16-35/4LIS.

Brand HDRs to balance the view out the windows with the interior. Have fun making money!

I would never suggest a Samyang 14mm f2.8 for indoor existent manor photography. Apart from the obvious and frequent QC issues affecting copy variations, fifty-fifty if you lot become a proficient one, the distortion pattern is a weird moustache shape which is very hard to correct, and in that location are lots of straight lines indoors, which would stick out like a sore thumb.

The newer Samyang 14mm f2.four XP/SP premium is much improve in that respect, just also more plush.

yes if you lot see a photo of a tall edifice it will be leaning back ..this is because y’all had to tilt the photographic camera up to get it all in …so yous see vertical lines will then lean back away from the photographic camera …this is made very very much more obvious with wide angle lenses …yous you need to go on the camera level …which ways y’all may have to lift the camera up or down to get the scene in keeping the camera level hence keping vertical lines vertical
